amazon seeks a digital controller to support its digital movies and music business in the eu. amazon has recently acquired lovefilm with the intention of establishing that business at the forefront of the digital movie download market segment, offering a broad selection of film and tv content to its subscription customers. business or related field
preferred qualifications
professional qualification or mba ideal but not essential, and problem solving
experience with data warehouse, expense tracking and control
monitor cost-centre expenditures versus forecasts and budgets
identifying and communicating issues to senior management
establish and maintain operating and business metrics
basic qualifications
skills/experience:
6+ years of relevant finnace/accounting experience
experience in digital or the movie/music industry wolud be helpful
demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecsating, accounting, and acquisition proposals
decision support anaylsis of underlying data to support negotiating of commercial terms of contractual / vendor relationships
applying general business and financial anaylsis skills to ensure the success of the digital strategy
supporting internal customer groups in all finance and accounting matters including budgteing, and sql is a storng plus

bacehlor\'s dergee in finance, congos, forecasting, delas, varaince analysis.in addtiion to your responsibilities supporting the digital movies business, you would also support the existing digital music business and any developments in that space. and supporting the build-out of the portfolio of connected devices to enable our customers to access the lovefilm content, building a substantial new customer base of subscribers through sustained marketing investment, this role will involve supporting significant content acquisition from the major movie and tv studios for europe, evaluating multi-million euro deals.amazon has great ambition in this area and you would be the finance partner for this new venture. and decision support for all aspects of the proposition, vendor terms approval, analysis and support of pricing strategy, responsible for all finance related matters of the digital movies and music business for amazon eu (inc lovefilm), including ownership of the p&l and balance sheet, this is a very broad-based role.luxembourg boasts a rich cultural scene and a high standard of living.you will write business plans and launch many and varied initiatives. have fun. make history.luxembourg has luxembourgish, french and german as national languages, with english spoken by the many expatriates and most locals.
